Applications
Drinks manufacturing - Bottle convey
or lubrication
ICS were contacted by a drinks manufacturer who had a problem with drinks bottles on the production line. The plastic drinks bottles were sticking together through static electricity building up on the dry bottles. This caused disruption on the conveyor leading to unnecessary downtime.
This was easily solved by installing flat fan nozzles that would create a mist on each side of the conveyor, lightly coating the bottles. This dissipated the static, reducing the disruption and allowing the production line to run as normal.
How did we do it?
XAPR
The XAPR produces a very fine atomisation, making it ideal for coating, misting, humidifying, and spraying viscous liquids.
It is pressure-fed and mixes the air and liquid internally, producing a full cone spray pattern.
It can be constructed of nickel-plated brass, SS303 or SS316.
